My sweet neice has been involved in Girls on the Run through her school. She has made such progress and is loosing baby fat like crazy! I am soo proud of her. I found out about this in March, and secretly planned on running it with her. I bought us matching GOTR bondi bands and was totally psyched. It was initially scheduled for the 26th of May, which ended in cancellation as it stormed.
We were all set to go on the 2nd, when Kennedy got a nasty stomach bug that put her out of the race. How sweet is this girl? The only thing she was worried about was disappointing me. So tonight, I ran for Kennedy.
